The Government has announced that primary schools should begin a phased return for pupils in certain year groups from June. At Amesbury CE Primary School, in addition to the vulnerable and key worker pupils already attending school, we will be accepting pupils from Reception, Year 1 and Year 6. This is due to commence on June 3rd if Government, LA and scientifc evidence suggests that it is safe to do so with reasonable adjustments to the school setting put in place.
The information on this page outlines the school's intention on what these adjustments to the normal school operation will look like. These procedures and routines are subject to change at short notice in response to National and Local Authority guidance.
The school will endeavour to communicate any changes to the intended offer at the earliest possible opportunity.

If you have any further questions in relation to the school provision for pupils please contact the main school office.
What should my child wear to school?
Pupils should aim to dress as closely in line with the school uniform policy as far as is possible
Fresh clean clothes that have not been worn since their last wash each day
Pupils may alternate between uniform and PE kit
If you are unable to provide fresh uniform or PE kit for one day in school then pupils should wear a plain white top and dark shorts/trousers instead
Plain trainers or sports shoes rather than school shoes as children will not be able to get changed for physical activity
Pupils will complete all activities in the clothes that they have worn to school that day, including PE
Where do I drop off and pick up my child?
Each group of pupils has an allocated zone and separate drop-off and pick up point. You will receive information to confirm which zone(s) your child(ren) have been allocated to.
PINK ZONE – the side gate on School Lane (Reception children)
RED ZONE – Main school gate on Kitchener Road (Year 1 and some allocated Year 2 children from key worker or vulnerable families)
ORANGE ZONE – Drop off lay-by on Kitchener Road, pedestrian access only (Year 6 children)
BLUE ZONE – The Ark entrance on Coldharbour (Year 3, 4, 5 and some allocated Year 2 children from Key Worker & Vulnerable families)
If you have more than one child and they have been allocated bubbles in different zones, you should drop off the youngest sibling first then make your way to next drop off point for the next child. Siblings will not be permitted to enter through the same entrance if they are in different zones.
Please adhere to the 2m social distancing markers whilst you wait.
