Welcome back to Term 5!

It is so lovely to have all your smiling faces back inside the classroom. We hope you had a lovely Easter break.

For Weeks 1 -4, our main book focus is Claude in the City. We will be working hard on drafting and editing our writing whilst producing Newpaper articles and our own versions of the story. For weeks 5 and 6 and the first week back of Term 6, our main book focus will be Lost and Found. We will be exploring new vocabulary and also writing: character descriptions, advice, instructions and non-chronological reports.

In Science we are learning about animals including humans. We will be thinking about animal groups: Mammals, fish, birds, reptiles and amphibians. We will also be exploring the vocabulary herbivore, carnivore and omnivore and working out which category different animals fall into depending on what they eat.
